INFORM our Veterans about policy changes, resources, and issues that we face as a collective group.
CONNECT our Veterans with organizations that will build a better future for tomorrow’s Veterans and programs that can assist today’s Veterans during times of need.
UNITE our Veterans to one another in an effort to build strong relationships and networks within our community.
ORGANIZE the voice of our Veterans so that we are heard within our Community, our State, and our Country.
VETS 4 VETS IS…
A movement created in 2013 by the Semper Fidelis Society working towards uniting Veterans and Veteran Organizations in NE Florida. It’s intent is to provide a forum where Veterans and their organizations can share agendas, information, network among Veterans and Veteran Organizations and introduce the Veterans community to prominent community leaders and organizations that assist and/or provide services to veterans and their families.
Vets 4 Vets is a way of addressing veterans concerns together, creating an environment of cooperation and coordination between Veterans Organizations and bringing attention and support to establishing a solely for Veterans, run by Veterans and supported by the Veterans Community Veteran’s Resource Center/support facility in Jacksonville.
Vets 4 Vets has quarterly gatherings. They are only 2 hours on a Saturday and includes a lunch. The Gatherings are an opportunity to meet fellow Veterans from other organizations, share in some camaraderie and work toward supporting each other. It is an opportunity to for Veterans across Northeast Florida to present a united front when dealing with local Veterans issues.
OUR VISION:
Ensure Veterans are respected and recognized for their service, always receive the benefits and entitlements they were promised and earned and ensure all veterans especially disabled Veterans are given a fair deal.
